The MC-2000 Marking Systems
The MC-2000 is an electrically and pneumatically operated machine which marks by creating a series of dot indentations with an adjustable impact force. Consequently, a wide range of characters and signs stored in the machine memory can be marked with the required size and depth.
Permanent marking can be carried out on most materials (metal, plastic, wood, glass, etc.) by the repeated action of a properly sharpened carbide stylus. This system permits marking on extremely hard, uneven and irregular, flat or curved workpieces that will however be subjected to neither high stresses nor deformations.
The standard version of the MC-2000 machine consists of the four following interconnected units which together form a desktop machine:
1. The Marking Unit with its’ coordinated indexing slides, solenoid operated stylus head, and necessary ancillary equipment and supports which configure the mechanical side of the machine.
2. The Control Unit in which the electronic drive system, microprocessor and lighted LCD display are housed.
3. The Pushbutton Station for the On/Pause/Off commands.
4. The Keyboard through which the machine controls are accessed and the working parameters set, on the MC 2000 K model only. The MC 2000 S models do no include an individual keyboard since they are operated from a PC or as a slave of another computer.
